Senior Line Dance Lessons (Beginner level dances only), Smithfield, RI

We dance for 1 hour. Bring water, wear comfortable clothing & shoes. This is a beginner line dance class but we will also play some classic fun line dance music with quick reviews so everyone can join in the fun! New line dances will be introduced weekly so no experience is necessary. Just come, learn, socialize, and have a fun time! Residents of any city/town are encouraged to attend.

Senior Line Dance Lessons, Burrillville, RI

Join Melissa for a fun, low-impact line dancing class designed for all seniors! This is the perfect class to stay active, sharpen your memory, and socialize.

• What to bring: Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes (shoes with good support are recommended!) and don’t forget your water bottle to stay hydrated.
• What we do: We will review the beginner line dances learned in previous weeks to build your confidence. Each week, Melissa will introduce a brand new line dance so you can keep learning and challenging yourself.
• Who can join: This class is open to seniors living in any city or town. New dancers are welcome to join every week—no experience is needed!

INTERMEDIATE LINE DANCE LESSONS/REVIEWS, WARWICK, RI

1st two Monday’s of the month
This is your chance to learn some intermediate line dances. The ones that are difficult to just pick up on the floor. Lessons for each week will be posted in the facebook event on the Get in Line RI Line Dancing Facebook page. There will be 2 New Lessons and 2 Quick Reviews each week – Quick reviews are designed to refresh our memories and work out any issues we maybe having with the dances. 

3rd Monday of the month – QUICK REVIEWS ONLY
We will review a couple of walls of dances learned in the past to refresh our memory so we are able to dance these dances at the intermediate dance nights every other Friday at The Rally and on the last Monday of the month at the Elks for the intermediate line dance party.

The last Monday of the month: NEW – INTERMEDIATE LINE DANCE PARTY!
No walkthroughs only dancing. This is so we get to dance as many intermediate dances as possible. I will be on the mic as needed to help guide. If you need help with a dance, we will add it as a review in the following weeks. The dances on this playlist will be from the Monday night intermediate lesson nights. If you didn’t attend any of the lessons but know the dances, please come and dance. It will be a nonstop high energy dance night. 6-8pm.

Beginner Line Dance Night, Lincoln, RI

Nothing too complicated at the Cool Pickle. This is where we gather to eat, dance, and have some fun each week.  Line dance walkthroughs and lessons as needed throughout the night. I usually announce which lessons will happen each week – so keep your eyes out for that on facebook! You don’t want to miss this dance night. Full dance floor, fun atmosphere, great people, and lots of dancing! We dance here every Friday from 8-11PM. Beginner line dance night on the 1st & 3rd Friday. All Request line dance night on the 2nd & 4th Friday – if there is a 5th Friday we will have a theme night – January 30 will be a Throwback Country Theme night – more details on the Facebook event page. Lessons for each week are from 8-8:30PM – All request nights will have a more complicated lesson than the beginner nights.

Intermediate All Request Line Dance Party, Cranston, RI
Get ready to hit the floor running! This isn’t a workshop or a lesson—it’s a two-hour, high-energy dance marathon where the music never stops and the floor belongs to YOU.

We are skipping the walkthroughs and going straight to the beat. If you know the steps, we’re dancing them! We’ll be burning through your favorite improver, intermediate, and advanced tracks all night long.

I’ll have the request list ready, featuring all the dances we’ve learned together in the past. Just pick your favorites from the list, and I will play as many as I can fit into two hours of non-stop movement! Grab your shoes and a water bottle—it’s going to be a wild night on the floor!
